Everything you need to know about Single Founder Company and running your AI-powered solo company.

The dashboard tracks agent status via heartbeats sent by OpenClaw. If an agent stops sending heartbeats — because your machine is off, your internet drops, or OpenClaw stops — the dashboard marks it as inactive. Assigned tasks remain in the queue and are not lost. When your machine comes back online and OpenClaw restarts, the agent reconnects and resumes from where it left off. You can also reassign pending tasks to another agent from the dashboard.
Each AI agent is a specialist persona — with a name, role, personality, mission, and set of deliverables — that runs locally on your machine via OpenClaw (free). For example, the Frontend Developer agent behaves like a senior React engineer, the Brand Guardian behaves like a brand strategist, and the Game Designer behaves like a professional GDD author. They're not generic chatbots — each one has deep domain expertise and a distinct way of working. You connect your own AI subscription (Claude, Codex, or similar) as the intelligence layer, and manage all agents from your dashboard at your-name.singlefoundercompany.com.
Yes. Single Founder Company provides the agent configurations, management dashboard, and orchestration platform — but we don't provide AI compute or tokens. You need to bring your own AI subscription as the intelligence layer. We build and test against Claude (Anthropic) and Codex (OpenAI), but any AI model supported by OpenClaw will work. Your AI subscription cost is separate from your Single Founder Company subscription. The benefit is full control: your data goes directly to your chosen AI provider, not through us.
Yes. The platform is API-first — every feature available in the dashboard is also accessible via REST API. You can programmatically create tasks, retrieve deliverables, check agent status, and trigger workflows from your own tools, scripts, or automation platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n). Each agent gets its own API key and identity. Full API documentation is available in your dashboard once you subscribe.
If you'll use 3 or more departments, the All Access Bundle is better value — it gives you all 11 departments at a significant discount vs buying them individually. If you only need one specific department, buy that department on its own and pay less per month. You can always upgrade to the bundle later. All plans include all future agent updates for your subscribed departments.
You can cancel any time — no penalties, no fees, no contracts. Your subscription runs until the end of the current billing period, after which your dashboard access and agent workspace will be deactivated. Your local OpenClaw setup and agent configuration files remain on your machine. If you resubscribe, your workspace is restored. We don't delete your data immediately on cancellation — there is a grace period during which you can reactivate.
Yes. Every agent configuration is a structured definition file that you own — you can edit the name, role, personality, mission, and instructions to suit your specific business. You can also connect entirely new custom agents to your dashboard via the OpenClaw API. We provide 95+ pre-built specialists as a starting point, but the platform is fully open to customisation. Many founders start with our templates and gradually tailor them to match their brand voice, industry, and workflows.
Your dashboard lives at your-name.singlefoundercompany.com — it's your mission control centre for every agent in your company. From it you can assign tasks to agents via Kanban boards, monitor live agent activity and status (online, offline, working), review deliverables before anything goes live, coordinate multiple agents on the same project, and browse the full history of completed work. Think of it as the CEO's command centre: you give the orders, the agents execute, and everything flows through one place.
Your agent outputs are private by design. Agents run locally on your machine via OpenClaw — your task content and deliverables go directly between your hardware and your AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.). We never see your prompts, your outputs, or your business data. Your dashboard stores task metadata (titles, statuses, timestamps) so you can manage your workflow, but the actual content of deliverables is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each agent workspace is isolated — agents cannot access each other's data unless explicitly shared in a project.
Deliverables are submitted by the agent via the dashboard API and appear in the task detail view once submitted. If you don't see one, first check whether the task status actually changed to 'completed' or is still 'in progress'. If the task shows completed but no deliverable is attached, it may indicate an API error during submission — restart OpenClaw and reassign the task. Make sure your OpenClaw version is up to date, as older versions occasionally had issues with deliverable submission.
There are 11 departments: Engineering (15 agents — frontend, backend, DevOps, security, AI, mobile and more), Design (8 agents — UI, UX, brand, visual storytelling), Paid Media (7 agents — PPC, paid social, programmatic, tracking), Marketing (17 agents — SEO, content, growth, social media, TikTok, Instagram, and more), Product (4 agents — sprint planning, trend research, feedback synthesis), Project Management (6 agents — studio producer, project shepherd, experiment tracker), Testing (8 agents — accessibility, API, performance, QA), Support (6 agents — customer service, finance, legal, infrastructure), Spatial Computing (6 agents — visionOS, WebXR, Metal), Specialized (15 agents — blockchain security, SOC 2, multi-agent orchestration, data pipelines), and Game Development (19 agents — Unity, Unreal, Godot, Roblox Studio, cross-engine).
Yes — the Game Development department covers Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, and Roblox Studio, plus 5 cross-engine agents (Game Designer, Level Designer, Narrative Designer, Technical Artist, Game Audio Engineer) that work with any engine. All 19 agents are available in your hosted workspace — access just the sub-department for your engine, or all of them. There are 4 Unity agents, 4 Unreal agents, 3 Godot agents, and 3 Roblox Studio agents — all engine-specific specialists.
Single Founder Company is an orchestration and management platform for solo founders. We provide pre-configured agent templates for 11 departments and 95+ specialist roles, an orchestration layer that coordinates them, and a management dashboard at your-name.singlefoundercompany.com — Kanban boards, live activity monitoring, and output review. We do not provide AI, tokens, or run agents for you. You bring your own machine (computer, server, or VM), install OpenClaw (free) as the local execution layer, and connect your own AI subscription (Claude, Codex, or similar). You become the CEO — the platform handles the orchestration, your AI handles the execution.
You can be up and running in under 30 minutes. Purchase the package, access your dashboard, follow the quick-start guide, and deploy your first AI agent. By the end of day one, you'll have your entire AI team configured and handling tasks.
After subscribing, you'll receive a confirmation email with your management dashboard URL and a personalized setup command. Install OpenClaw (free) on your machine, server, or VM — it's the local execution layer that runs your agents. Connect your AI subscription (Claude, Codex, or similar) inside OpenClaw, then run the setup command. Your agents start locally, connect to your dashboard at your-name.singlefoundercompany.com, and are ready for tasks. Full guides for each department are in the docs.
Yes. The dashboard supports multi-agent teams within projects. You can assign different tasks to different specialists — for example, the SEO Specialist researches keywords while the Content Creator drafts the article, the Brand Guardian reviews tone, and the Social Media Strategist plans distribution. Agents can be assigned sequentially or in parallel depending on the workflow. This is where Single Founder Company really shines: coordinating a full department of specialists, not just a single chatbot.
OpenClaw is the free, open-source local execution layer that runs your agents on your own machine. It acts as the bridge between your management dashboard and your AI subscription — it receives task assignments from your dashboard, sends them to your AI model, and returns the deliverables. OpenClaw is completely free and always will be. You install it on your computer, a server, or a VPS. We don't run agents for you — they run on your hardware, which means your data stays private and you control the compute costs.
Yes — everything is à la carte. Individual agents start at $0.9/mo each. Full departments are available at a 16% discount vs buying agents individually. The All Access Bundle includes all 11 departments and 110+ agents at the best per-agent rate. All plans are monthly subscriptions — cancel any time, no contracts, no hidden fees.
If a task stays in 'in progress' for longer than expected, check whether the agent is showing as online in your dashboard. If it's offline, restart OpenClaw on your machine. If the agent is online but not progressing, you can manually move the task back to the inbox from your dashboard, then reassign it. Also check if your AI provider API key is valid and has available quota. Most stuck tasks are caused by an expired API key, a connectivity issue, or OpenClaw needing a restart.
From your dashboard, create a task with a description and assign it to any agent. The task appears in the agent's inbox — OpenClaw picks it up, your AI processes it, and the agent submits a deliverable back to the dashboard. You then review the deliverable, approve it, or request a revision. Every task and its output is stored in your dashboard history. You can also assign tasks to multiple agents simultaneously for projects that require coordination between departments.
You don't need to be a developer. Our platform is designed for entrepreneurs and business people. We handle all the technical complexity. If you can navigate a dashboard and write basic instructions, you're ready to go.
Yes. All future updates to agent configurations for your subscribed departments are included at no extra cost. When we release new agent versions, improved personas, or new specialists within a department you subscribe to, they are added to your workspace automatically. The All Access Bundle includes updates across all 11 departments and any new departments or agents we add in the future.
That's exactly who this is built for. Instead of hiring a marketing team, engineering team, design team, and support team — you build an AI version of each. You act as the CEO: set the strategy, assign tasks, review deliverables, and approve outputs. The agents handle the execution. Founders using Single Founder Company run content calendars, manage ad campaigns, write and review code, handle customer support queries, and ship products — all without employees. The result is a solo operation with Fortune 500 capabilities at a fraction of the cost.
ChatGPT and Claude are general-purpose AI assistants — you prompt them manually, one conversation at a time, with no persistent identity or specialisation. Single Founder Company gives you 95+ specialists that each behave like a dedicated senior professional in their domain: the SEO Specialist knows exactly what deliverables to produce and how, the DevOps Automator knows your stack context, and the Brand Guardian enforces your voice consistently. Beyond that, the management layer lets you assign, track, and review work across an entire team — not just chat. It's the difference between having a conversation and running a company.
Your agents run on your own hardware — your computer, a cloud server, a VPS, or a VM. OpenClaw (the free local execution layer) runs on your machine and connects outward to your dashboard and your AI provider. We never have access to your agent outputs, your prompts, or your data. This is a deliberate design choice: privacy, control, and zero per-token markups. Your compute costs go directly to your AI provider, not through us.
